DESCRIPTION

Position: Maintenance Mechanic
Shift: Second shift (12-hour shift)
Location: Woodburn, OR
Pay: $30 per hour + shift differential + great benefits
Status: Full-time Permanent

Qualifications:

• Experience in Maintenance, millwright, or similar roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems, including pumps, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical issues, with the ability to determine root causes and implement both short-term and long-term solutions.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents, including blueprints, maintenance instructions, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV report.
• Completion of a forklift safety training course.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience in food production environments.
• Familiarity with boilers, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment, including refrigeration systems, power transmission components, and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment meets operational standards and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Complete repairs on boilers, gear systems, and control instruments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in optimizing maintenance processes for improved efficiency and reduced downtime
