Job Title: Plant Manager
Location: Hamilton, ON
Industry: Heavy Industrial
Compensation: $105,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience and industry background

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Plant Manager with a strong background in progressive stamping, tooling, steel processing, and mechanical troubleshooting. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing daily plant operations, production performance, and team development for a growing metal fabrication facility. The right candidate will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a well-established organization that values accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and scheduling of plant operations and resources across multiple departments
• Coordinate production based on customer requirements and adjust operations in real-time in response to process failures, quality issues, or changes in demand.
• Monitor and evaluate production results to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to a seasoned team of approx. 30 staff across departments (and growing)
• Drive process improvements and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee daily troubleshooting to resolve mechanical and operational issues swiftly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Be available on-site in the event of emergencies or critical issues.

Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in steel manufacturing, metal shop operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a must.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexible and hands-on with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Comfortable working in a multi-shift operation (with plans to expand to 3 shifts).
