DESCRIPTION

One of our leading clients in the automotive industry is seeking the following

POSITION: Business Development Manager

LOCATION: Guelph, ON (in-office)

SALARY: $115,000-$125,000 + Potential Bonuses + Benefits

STATUS: Full-time, Permanent

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Relevant experience in a similar role with a minimum 8 years of experience
2. OEM, Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier experience considered an asset
3. Mechanical Engineer background

OVERVIEW:

1. Build and strengthen customer relationships by anticipating needs, resolving issues quickly, and driving growth through new products, contracts, and expanded business.
2. Identify market trends and competition to identify opportunities, lead RFQs and proposals, and support marketing efforts through communications, conferences, and events.
3. Coordinate across teams to ensure quality, and on time program delivery while implementing cost saving initiatives and productivity improvements.
4. Support development of business strategy, applying strong technical and commercial expertise
