Responsibilities
- Hire and supervise site personnel, conduct annual performance evaluations, organize staff meetings and training, and develop/mentor site team members.
- Interviewing potential residents to determine whether they meet applicable regulations and/or requirements as issued by any local, State, Federal government, or agency regarding income eligibility
- Independently determine content of and coordinate resident community meetings and resident activities
- Collect rent and serve late notices as needed and/or delegate the same
- Assist with soliciting vendor/contractor bids and manage the budget for all maintenance and capital improvement projects as well as promptly respond to and handle emergency maintenance situations in conjunction with maintenance team members.
- Review, analyze & prepare weekly and monthly compliance reports
- Supervise maintenance and office staff, contractors and vendors including approval of services and associated invoices
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and vendors and ensure that all staff do the same
- Resolve resident relation issues promptly, and escalate issues to appropriate team members as needed
- Oversee and execute other projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have HUD & tax credit experience
- Minimum of 5 years of property management experience, with at least 2 years of experience overseeing multiple sites with property/resident managers as direct reports.
- Great attention to detail, with the ability to meet & adhere to reporting & project management deadlines.
- Knowledge of property maintenance and physical maintenance/upkeep requirements
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through including ability to manage staff
- Able to work independently, prioritize, meet multiple deadlines, and supervise team members
