DESCRIPTION

JOB: Licensed Millwright

LOCATION: Whitby, ON 

RATE: $43.99 hourly + Overtime + Shift Premiums ($1.15 for aft & nights – $1.65 for weekends

SHIFT: 3 shifts (1 week night, 1 week afternoon, 4 weeks day shift every 6 weeks & a Saturday/Sunday every 12 weeks (about 4 weeks a year)

STATUS: Full-time, Permanent

Qualifications:

Licensed Industrial Mechanical Millwright with at least three years of manufacturing experience.

Strong skills in welding, machining, fabrication, and industrial maintenance.

Able to read and interpret drawings and manuals

Blown film extrusion experience is an asset.

Overview:

Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures.

Carry out maintenance, repairs, installations, and fabrication based on blueprints.

Troubleshoot and improve equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.

Support production through preventive maintenance and flexible shift and on-call availability.
