Maintenance Technician (Electrician)
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay: $40 – $45 per hour
Shift: Continental Rotating Shift
Permanent Full-Time position + Benefits
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work including cleaning, lubricating parts, inspecting components (sensors, motors, drive belts etc.) repair or replacement of parts where applicable etc.
- Respond to breakdowns as they occur, performing reactive maintenance and resolving system faults in a timely manner.
- Understand the system operation and troubleshoot issues
- Complete work order forms and write reports on fault resolution.
- In addition, may be required to support installation of new projects, or to perform maintenance on material handling systems in other parts of the Canada.
Requirements
- Electrical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical engineering background with minimum 4 years experience in the maintenance of industrial / mechanical systems.
- Must have Construction and Maintenance Electrician License (309A)
- Strong problem solver with ability to work independently.
- Technical expertise related to automation and industrial systems
