Responsibilities:
- Develop work instructions, training, execute plans for optimal employee performance
- Strategize and enforce goals for direct reports to ensure annual expectations are clear
- Prompt resolution and follow through on issues while getting help where needed.
- Troubleshoot and improve area operations, processes, equipment efficiency, SOP’s to improve performance costs.
- Maintain required documentation for BRC
- Utilize continuous improvement tools and promote this culture to improve performance (5S, visuals, Kaizen, etc.)
- Ensue staff perform their activities in a safe manner and help to correct any safety hazards.
- Train employees regarding operating procedures.
Requirements
- Technical degree at the college level; or 3 to 4 years related experience and training (Electrician or Millwright)
- License required: Electrician or Millwright
- Knowledgeable of industry regulations and able to implement them (OHSA, HACCP, GMPs, BRC, Continuous Improvement methods
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the appropriate tools to construct objects, structures, and building.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, users, benefits, repair, and maintenance
