Field Service Technician II

Travel position – Most of USA and Mexico

Headquarters: New Jersey

Pay: $33 – $39 per hour

Travel with the US 80% to 90% of the time

Responsibilities:

• Access and troubleshoot of electro-mechanical components, including IO cabling and network components
• Inspect, determine and perform corrective, emergency and preventative maintenance of the conveying systems.
• Interpret maintenance manuals. Schematics, and wiring diagrams, repair equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and standard test instruments and hand tools.
• Analyze, review and determine source of problem(s), make recommended repairs, replace or other corrective action. Coordinate problem(s) with team and other personnel to expedite repairs.
• Prepared detailed service reports and documentation for work completed.

Requirements:

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
• Troubleshooting experience of industrial equipment and bulk conveying systems
• Experience with heavy conveyors, belting and drive systems.
• Strong PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Self-motivated, trustworthy, respect for others
• Attention to detail.
