DESCRIPTION

CNC Operator

Location: Nisku, Alberta

Pay $28 – $32.30 per hour + $2 Night Shift Premium

Shift: Night Shift available – 12 hour Straight Shifts

Requirements

• 2+ Years’ experience working as a CNC Operator / Lathe Operator (Okuma, Mazak, Mori Seiki)
• Manual labor work experience in an industrial setting is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload & move products and materials by hand or using material handling equipment.
• Create premium threading connections by operating CNC Machine.
• Setup CNC programs to meet various requests as needed.
• Ability to read & interpret product CAD drawings, charts, and tables.
• Using power & manual tools, complete tasks efficiently & to quality standards.
• Ability to set up gauges & adjust tools for inspection purposes.
• Perform inspections & ensure product quality complying with defined standards.
• Reporting Non-Conformity Rejects (NCR) & manufactured product deviations to the quality department.
