Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Director to lead the overall strategy, security, infrastructure, and day-to-day operations of a manufacturing organization’s information technology environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the organization’s IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, ERP/MRP systems, and business technologies effectively support manufacturing and business operations. The IT Director will oversee networks, servers, cloud applications, user access, data protection, technical support, cybersecurity initiatives, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

The position will also lead technology projects and implementations, manage outside IT vendors and service providers, oversee IT budgets and expenditures, and work closely with executive leadership and various departments to identify technology needs, improve business processes, and maintain reliable and secure IT services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive IT experience, including experience leading IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, systems administration, and data protection.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP or other enterprise business systems.
  • Experience managing IT projects, vendors, budgets, and technology implementations.
  • Previous experience supporting IT within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees and leadership at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to balance strategic IT leadership with hands-on technical problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Must meet applicable U.S. regulatory and customer eligibility requirements.
  • Must be able to speak and read English.
