DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for the following excellent Maintenance Millwright opportunity for our client for their location in Ontario:

POSITION:  Maintenance Millwright

STATUS:   Full Time Permanent Position

SHIFT:    Rotating Continental Shift – 2 weeks days (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM), 2 weeks nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

SALARY:   $50.37/hour + SHIFT PREMIUMS + BENEFITS

LOCATION:  Cambridge, ON

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must hold a valid Ontario 433A Millwright license
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience with machine shop equipment and welding
• Food manufacturing or production equipment experience is preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays

OVERVIEW:

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Complete daily maintenance tasks while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and troubleshoot equipment issues in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with operators and other skilled trades to identify and resolve equipment, safety and quality concerns.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production environment.
• Maintain clear communication during shift handovers, team meetings and work order activities.
• Utilize CMMS systems to record work orders and maintenance activities.
• Support a continuous improvement environment with a focus on safety, efficiency and equipment reliability.
