Job Summary & Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environments.
- Previous experience in high pace production environment with direct experience in manufacturing
- Implement & control the production schedule.
- Review & adjust the schedule where needed Evaluating order sheets & planning work accordingly for function (by Lead hands); entering orders statuses in production planning software system.
- Conduct daily morning meetings with production staff (Lead hands) to discuss issues, priorities for the day, & have safety talks.
- Monitors progress & modifies priorities as required.
- Ensure the right resources are available on a shift by shift basis to meet projected workload delivery on quality, cost & schedules.
- Ensuring quality standards are met by the department by systematically inspecting samples of all products; provides on going & continuous feedback & direction to employees regarding productivity & quality of work.
