One of our leading clients in the minerals sector is hiring for the following role:

POSITION: Cost Accountant

LOCATION: Timmins, ON

SHIFT: 4 days on/3 days off – 10 hour shifts

SALARY: $70,000-$90,000

STATUS: Full-time, Permanent

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA considered an asset.

• 8–10 years of cost accounting experience, experience in mining or relevant industrial industry.

• Strong Excel skills and Pronto software an asset.

OVERVIEW:

• Support the CFO by managing and analyzing all financial activities for the site.

• Develop, monitor, and reconcile operating budgets, forecasts, and cost reports, identifying variances and opportunities for efficiency and savings.

• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and departmental teams to control expenditures, manage inventory, and provide financial insights
