DESCRIPTION

Position:         Field Service Engineer

Location:        Chicago, Illinois

Shift:               Travel up to 80% to 90% of the time – domestic & international travel

Duration         Full Time Permanent, pension, benefits, overtime, etc.

Pay:                 $36.00 per hour

(Pay rates are based on skills and experience + the current project)

Position Overview:

Field Service Engineer will commission, modify, troubleshoot, and support related equipment at customer locations or where needed. Must be able to travel 80% of the time to project locations for extended periods. Expense Based position: Meals / Hotel / Car Rental / Gas (Expense Report for Bi- Weekly Reimbursement. (May receive a corporate credit card)

Job Summary & Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent Electro/Mechanical skills
• Opportunity to Travel up to 80 % to 90% of the time – domestic & international travel.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Commissioning of automated controls for supplied or modified equipment in a timely and professional manner
• Field jobs require technical ability and background maintenance repair this work includes conveyors, integrated systems.
• Experience Robotics
• Experience Electromechanical / PLC’s & Controls
• Experience Commissioning background.
• Write and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programs.
• Handle, burn, and restore EPROM’s and Ghost images.
• Program and maintain Fanuc Robots and tools.
• Siemens S7, Ladder and STL programs, Allen Bradley
• Computer literacy; including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint
• Valid Driver’s License
