Position: Inside Sales/ Customer Service Representative

Location: Vaughan, ON

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

This is a role combining inside sales, order desk, and general customer support responsibilities. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and highly customer-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. You will handle a mix of inbound and outbound communication, managing customer orders, re-engaging past clients, maintaining key accounts, and supporting overall sales and service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming customer inquiries, provide product and service information, and process orders accurately.

• Enter, track, and update orders through the ERP system.

• Make outbound calls to existing and former customers to strengthen relationships and identify new business opportunities.

• Provide timely follow-up on quotes, orders, and delivery updates.

• Collaborate with internal departments (sales, operations, logistics) to ensure excellent customer service.

• Maintain organized records of client activity and communicate updates to the team.

• Contribute to a positive, professional, and customer-first work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or order desk within distribution or manufacturing.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience using ERP or CRM systems.
