Maintenance Electrician
Location: Vancouver, BC
Shift: 3 Shift Rotation

Pay: $38 to $42 per hour + Shift Premium

Full Time Permanent Position with Great Benefits

Job Duties

• Carry out reactive and preventive maintenance / repairs on all building and production equipment
• Responds to emergency calls and performs breakdown repairs as required for electrical and automation issues, including electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist in the electrical design, fabrication, and installation of new production equipment
• Install socket outlets, lights, switches, and distribution boxes, bends and lays metal and PVC conduits.
• Calibrate weighing scales and performs programming and troubleshooting on PLCs and VFDs, with notable experience on Mitsubishi brands.
• Comply and adheres to SQF, OHS and GMP standards, requirements, and practices.

Requirements

• Required Licensed Red Seal Industrial Electrician in good standing.
• PLC certification or minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and programming ladder logic and variable speed drives.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance electrician experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing tasks requiring strength, and mobility.
• Capable of safely operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
