Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and Maintenance Mechanic to support the maintenance, repair, and optimization of SMT, Wave, Selective, Conformal Coating, Ultrasonic Welding, and Laser Welding equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and be committed to minimizing downtime while maintaining production efficiency.

Shift: Day – 8:00am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to maintenance needs for SMT, Wave, Selective Soldering, Conformal Coating, Ultrasonic Welding, and Laser Welding machines.
- Ensure minimal downtime to support uninterrupted production.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all machine installations on the manufacturing floor.
- Maintain and update equipment and repair records.
- Make, repair, and modify custom tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges using various materials to precise specifications.
- Communicate independently with machine vendors and technical support as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on both building infrastructure and production equipment.
- Support and implement lean manufacturing and safety initiatives.
- Participate in installation and training for new equipment and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical and general electrical aptitude.
- Must have 3 years’ experience repairing SMT/related machinery in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance technician role is required.
- Proficient in using email and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
- General electrical knowledge is considered an asset.
