DESCRIPTION

Maintenance Planner
Location: Akron, NY
Pay: $29-$32 per hour
Shift: 1^st shift Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Outlines in detail, all maintenance work after a work order request is made.
• Plans, priorities and schedules work assignments for each department employee.
• Reprioritizes and schedules work assignments for each shift team member as necessary to maintain a full workload for all hours worked.
• Reviews daily work orders to compare with summary sheet for completeness and work order closure. Notifies supervision of any discrepancies
• Investigates work request for feasibility and efficient labor utilization.
• Establishes, updates and maintains labor time standards for each work order.
• Coordinates work with affected departments and outside vendors.
• Determines materials, tools, equipment and availability.
• Prepares requisitions for parts required to complete work orders.
• Maintains a current backlog of preventive and routine maintenance work orders.
• Updates or modifies CMMS to coordinate work including adding equipment and related data. Insures current and accurate work order data including updating PM frequencies and procedures.
• Comply with all safety & GMP regulations & support the production of safe, high-quality products.
• Follows all company rules, policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School or equivalency diploma.
• Associates degree in technical field or 3 years’ industrial maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in utilizing a computer database.
• Demonstrated computer and keyboard skills in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Good Communication Skills
• CMMS experience a plus.
• Able to work flexible hours and weekends.
