DESCRIPTION

POSITION:    Millwright – 433A    

LOCATION:   Brampton, ON      

RATE:            $43.35 + 0.85 Shift Premium

SHIFT:             Continental Rotating  

STATUS:         Full-time, Permanent

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)
• Full set of metric/standard tools required
• Experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, and welding/cutting
• Minimum 3 years’ manufacturing experience with the ability to read mechanical drawings

OVERVIEW:

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and repair machinery using measuring tools, hoists, and hand/power tools.
• Inspect, adjust, fabricate, and weld parts; maintain production equipment through cleaning, lubrication, and component replacement.
• Document maintenance work, manage parts and materials, communicate equipment needs, and uphold a safe, clean work environment.
