DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Millwright
LOCATION: Fort Erie, ON
SALARY: $40.00-$47.00/hr + Overtime Opportunities
SHIFT: Days, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift
STATUS: Full-time, Permanent

Qualifications

• Certified Millwright 442A License required
• 2–4 years of experience in millwright or related industrial work preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Experience with CNC machinery installation, adjustments, and preventive maintenance
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and follow safety procedures

Overview

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns; perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Maintain and certify lifting equipment and overhead cranes
• Install, adjust, and maintain machines, conveyors, pulleys, belts, shafts, gears, clutches, and drives
• Set up conventional and CNC machines, cutting machines, rivet machines, and other metalworking equipment
• Adjust electronic controls, including potentiometers and proximity switches
• Monitor and test bearings, mechanical seals, valves, pressure regulators, and other equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure preventive maintenance programs are up-to-date
• Apply knowledge of heat treat, stress relief, lubricants, and hydraulic fluids
• Collaborate with team members to support production and continuous improvement initiatives
