DESCRIPTION

POSITION:    Millwright – 433A    

LOCATION:   Stratford, ON    

SALARY:         $41 hourly + $1-$2 shift premium

SHIFT:             Straight Shift – Afternoons or Nights      

STATUS:         Full-time, Permanent

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) in good standing.
• Completion of apprenticeship.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics; welding experience is considered an asset.
• Strong mathematical skills

OVERVIEW:

• Install, assemble, and maintain industrial machinery, including operating hand and power tools, machine tools, and lifting equipment, while inspecting and troubleshooting for defects.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, part fabrication, and construct machinery foundations as required.
• Train new employees, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and carry out related duties as assigned.
