DESCRIPTION

POSITION:    Millwright – 433A    

LOCATION:   Ancaster, ON   

SALARY:         $40-43 hourly + $1 shift premium

SHIFT:             Continental Days – 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM     

STATUS:         Full-time, Permanent

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Secondary School Diploma with valid Apprenticeship Certificate.
• Certified Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) in good standing.
• 3–5 years of practical experience preferred.

Technical & Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EAM/CMMS systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices per Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, design drawings, and O&M manuals.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

OVERVIEW:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and maintain CMMS records.
• Coordinate with contractors and support projects, start-ups, and commissioning.
• Perform welding, rigging, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety compliance.
