DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Millwright – Red Seal/433A
LOCATION: Kamloops, BC
SALARY: $48.89 per hour
SHIFT: Tuesday–Friday & Weekend Shifts Available
STATUS: Full-time, Permanent

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Millwright required.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial experience
• Hands-on experience with presses, dryers, hydraulics, and compressors.
• Additional trade certifications (welder, fabricator) are an asset.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.

Overview

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment including presses, dryers, hydraulics, and compressors.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems to ensure minimal downtime.
• Support equipment installations, adjustments, and maintenance projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and follow health & safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to support smooth mill operations.
