Position: Millwright - Red Seal/433A
Location: Canada, , Amherst
Salary: $38.00-$40.00 / Hourly
Status: Full Time, Permanent

POSITION: Millwright – Red Seal/433A or Apprentice (3rd/4th year)
LOCATION: Amherst, NS
SALARY: $38.00–$40.00 per hour
SHIFT: Rotating Continental (rotates every 2 weeks between days/nights)
STATUS: Full-time, Permanent

Qualifications

  • Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (3rd/4th year apprentices considered).

  • Manufacturing experience preferred; welding, fabrication, machining, rigging an asset.

  • Forklift license and fall arrest certification are assets.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read blueprints and operate hand, portable, and floor tools safely.

  • Able to lift 40 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, climbing).

Overview

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant machinery.

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment to minimize downtime.

  • Maintain tools and document work via Work Orders.

  • Support continuous improvement and ensure health & safety compliance
