DESCRIPTION

PLC Technician
Pay: $38 – $45 per hour
Location: Concord/Vaughan

Great Benefits – Full Time Permanent position

Responsibilities:

• Install, calibrate, and maintain a wide range of instruments and control systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in instruments and control systems
• Use AutoCAD or other software to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose and resolve complex problems
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of instruments
• Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments
• Keep inventory of spare parts and equipment needed for repairs

Requirements:

• Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) or Construction Maintenance Electrician (309A) is a strong asset.
• Possess an Instrumentation and Control Technician (447A) Red seal accreditation or a College Technician or Technology Diploma in Instrumentation.
• Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, CNC machines, logic controllers, and industrial maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD or similar software is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to detect issues in instruments and control systems
