One of our leading clients in the food industry seeking the following:

• Position: Millwright
• Pay: $40/hourly
• Location : 1.5 hours East of Saskatoon
• Duration: Fulltime, Permanent
• Shift: Monday to Friday – Day Shift

Overview:

• Reliable transportation is required; 1-2 years of relevant experience and certifications in industrial Millwright or heavy-duty mechanics.
• Farm/agriculture experience is a plus; strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift 25kg, and wear steel-toed boots.

Responsibilities:

• Support plant operations by performing various duties as required.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on plant machinery and heavy equipment like forklifts and wheel loaders.
• Record, track, and report maintenance activities, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for quotes and contracts, focusing on cost-effective parts and services; identify and suggest areas for process improvement.
