DESCRIPTION

Position: Senior Android Developer

Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per year

Duration: Full Time Permanent

Overview:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of overall development experience & industry standards.
• Experience Solid understanding & experience implementing software design patterns.
• Developing & maintaining software using Java.
• Good understanding of the ins & outs of fragments, animation, threading, & the latest Android APIs.
• Creating automated test suites & ensuring quality in your code Experience w/ Agile/scrum development processes & methodologies.
• Design, develop, & test new features for Android applications, ensuring they meet user expectations & are compatible w/ various devices and platforms.
• Work closely w/ designers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure that requirements are met and delivered on time.
• Optimize application performance, including memory management, caching, & resource allocation.
