DESCRIPTION

Position: Steel Detailer

Location: Markham, ON

Pay: $25 – $30 per hour

Duration: Full Time Permanent

Requirements & Overview:

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering &/or related field
• Strong knowledge of steel detailing.
• Working knowledge of 3D digital drafting software.
• Ability to read & interpret design drawings.
• Use a series of available software’s for detailing, modeling & design.
• Create erection drawings with all relevant information for approver & site installer.
• Attention to details specifically within the changes & revisions to existing drawing.
• Ensuring that completed drawings have been reviewed & comply with companies’ fabrication and erection needs.
• Double check steel member information by referencing back to contract drawings.
