We are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Director for our client in the Packaging Industry for one of their locations in Greenville, OH.

Salary: $110,000 + Bonus + benefits
Duration: Permanent Full-Time position
Overview:
- Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating logistics, distribution and procurement strategies in relation to the daily planning and operational excellence objectives.
- Effectively manage the execution of transportation, distribution & procurement.
- Perform front-line management of transportation execution.
- Identify & address carrier & supplier performance as well as transportation planning & distribution issues.
- Provide plants with logistics, transportation, distribution & procurement support.
Select & qualify suppliers, negotiate, implement & manage business agreements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management or the equivalent.
- 5- 10 years experience in a Sr. Supply Chain Management role.
- Understanding of logistics industry and associated rules and regulations.
- Understanding of sourcing methodology, contract strategy, contract terms, and basic legal terms and conditions.
- Understanding of carrier operations that encompasses all modes of transportation (including dedicated fleet) in business and daily carrier operations.
